AQO Sports & Entertainment is proud to announce ‘Pro Eye’ photography competition. What is that one evocative image which comes to your mind, that captures how Sri Lanka represents its beauty of nature or its vibrant street life and colourful markets. Send us your best single shot on this theme, be featured on AQOSE news and social media pages as the most creative photographer and win prize!

Nature & Streets of Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a country located in South Asia, and it is known for its diverse and beautiful landscapes and is also known for its vibrant street life and colourful markets.
Awards:
Cash Price of LKR 10,000 will be awarded to the best photograph through judging and winner will be feathered on the AQOSE news and social media pages as the most creative photographer.
Photograph with highest vote will be feathered on the AQOSE news and social media pages as the most voted photograph.
All participants will receive certificates.
1. Eligibility Criteria
• This competition is open to all Sri Lankan nationals.
• Professional and amateur photographers can apply.
• AQOSE has the right to disqualify any submission if it violates standards of decency and is not aligned to the goals of the competition and that of the organization.
Photo Specifications
• Photographs taken via smartphones will be accepted.
• Photos must be in JPG or JPEG format, with resolution 72dpi or more recommended.
• The photograph image file size- up to 20MB.
• Basic photo editing is acceptable (including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and image cropping) as long as it does not affect the authenticity and genuineness of the photo.
• Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the addition and/or removal of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
• The photo submitted should not have a border, logo, any copyright marks, identification marks, or any other visible references and/or marks.
Legal and Copyright Issues – Terms and Conditions
• By submitting the photograph, you acknowledge that you are the sole copyright owner of the work. It must be an original shot, created and/or taken by you. The photo must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third-party. Participants will be disqualified if they do not adhere to this rule.
• The photographer will be credited wherever the picture is used.
• The organizer reserves in perpetuity the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, make public, publicly transmit, display, print, distribute entries with the credit titles on websites and public social networking service accounts, in photo exhibitions, and in the facilities it owns, both during and after the competition.
• The photographer agrees to take responsibility for any legal issue arising out of the work and all costs that could be incurred in the process.
Competition Criteria
Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Understanding of the topic
2. Relevance of the image to the topic
3. Creativity
4. Quality of the photograph.
Submission Details
• All entries must be uploaded to Google Drive (with view to anyone permission) and link should be submitted on aqose.com performance before 15th May 2023.
• The photo you submit must be accompanied by a caption (5-10 words)
• Photo description up to 100 words, mentioning why you shot this image, Location of photograph and the name of the device you shot it on. The description needs to be submitted in the aqose.com with the performance link.
